The Seattle Wine Society is an all volunteer, nonprofit organization dedicated to the appreciation of wine and food through educational events in the Puget Sound region.

We continue our mission to educate about wine and the ancient relationship between wine and food. We gather monthly to taste a special selection of wine that is accompanied by specially prepared food from local chefs. The atmosphere is friendly and informal. We think we offer the best tastings around for the most reasonable price. Of all the leisure activities you pursue, the Society may become your most enjoyable.

Why We Do What We Do

"Enological Society" sounds a bit ostentatious to some people who simply want to enjoy wine. The title of our organization is really quite simple though. Enology (also spelled oenology) is nothing more than a study of wines, especially how wine is made.
